PUK calls for manual counting of Erbil's ballot boxes

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan called for manual counting of ballot boxes in all polling stations in the Erbil Governorate.

Hazhar Muhammad, an official of the Patriotic Union Elections Institution in Erbil, told PUKmedia: The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has many comments on the election results in Erbil Governorate.

"PUK wants to recount the votes in the ballot boxes manually and will appeal the election results to the Federal Court," he continued.

He also explained that the Supreme Committee for the Patriotic Union Elections is in constant contact with officials in the Independent High Electoral Commission.

"If our request is not implemented, we will appeal the election results to the Federal Court," he affirmed.
