Slemani launches exhibition of handicrafts for women

On Saturday, a joint exhibition of handicrafts for women between Iran and the Kurdistan Region was launched in Slemani Governorate.

Hama Hama Saeed, KRG's Minister of Culture, stated, "This exhibition is important between nations, and we hope that this exhibition will become a motive for extending handicrafts for creative women."

"These exhibitions are a source of appreciation, and we hope that citizens visit the exhibition which, will last for several days," he added.

For his part, the Iranian Consul General in Slemani, Mahdi Shushtri, stated that this exhibition is important to introduce the handicrafts of creative women from the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"This exhibition contributes to strengthening cooperation relations between the two sides in the cultural and civilizational fields, and the pharmaceutical business in Iran consists of 370 types of handicrafts in different regions which is one of the great centers of handicrafts in the world," he added.

Mahdi Shushtri affirmed that the Consulate supports all kinds of exhibitions that contribute to the development of handicrafts and promotes trade cooperation between the two sides.
