Women participate in special voting process throughout Iraq

The special voting process that took place on Friday witnessed the participation of women in voting for the Iraqi Parliament Council.
Officer Suzan Majeed, who participated in the special voting, told PUKmedia, "I am happy to participate in the special vote with my other female colleagues to choose women who defend our rights in political forums."
Naz Ismail, one of the voting participants, told PUKmedia, "There is a marginalization of women in the Iraqi political decisions, and today we want women to take a real place in participating in the parliament, especially regarding women's rights."
It is noteworthy that women participated more in these elections, and according to the law that divides the country into 83 electoral districts, a woman will reach the parliament in each electoral district.
