The International Atomic Energy Agency elected a Kurdish diplomat to be the new vice president of its annual conference.
Ambassador Bakr Fattah, Iraq's permanent representative to the United Nations organization in Austria, was unanimously elected as vice president of the International Atomic Energy Agency's annual conference.
Bakr Fattah held several diplomatic posts; in 2013 became Iraq's ambassador to Sweden and later became Iraq's ambassador to Brazil.
