IOM opens weekly market in Halabja

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) plans to open a weekly market in Halabja governorate, in which farmers can sell their products during the different seasons.
On Sunday, Faryad Najm al-Din, the head of the Joint Crisis Coordination Office (JCC) in Halabja, stated: "as part of the efforts to open a weekly market in Halabja, IOM has built a canopy for the market which costs $45,000."
He added: "The aim of building the canopy is to help farmers sell their products during the different seasons. Beforehand, they only sold their products in a season.
