For the first time, Great International Russian Circus presented in Sulaymaniyah

For the first time, the Great International Russian Circus was presented in the city of Sulaymaniyah at the Grand Millennium 'Shari Jwan' Hotel in Sulaymaniyah on Saturday.

 

The show was attended by a number of government and party officials, in the presence of the Governor of Sulaymaniyah, Haval Abu Bakr, in addition to political and social figures of the city.

 

These performances are considered the first of their kind in the whole of Iraq, as such shows have not been presented for years in the country.

 

The mesmerizing activities took place in the courtyard of the famous Grand Millennium Hotel in the city of Sulaymaniyah at 8 pm (local time). The performers presented acrobatic movements, artistic skills, and comedic performances. 

 

The show got large applause from the attendee for the distinctive and exciting performances.

 

The Sales Director at the Grand Millennium Hotel, Majid Dakak, told PUKmedia that the show was organized and sponsored in coordination between Millennium Hotel and the Asia Cell Company and it is the first time for the Great International Russian Circus to perform in Iraq.

 

For his part, Tourism Director Ali Raouf told PUKmedia: "The circus is important in attracting tourists to the city, especially after the impact of the Corona pandemic on the tourism sector, which has greatly affected the city, and here we are today at the opening of the circus to revive the tourism sector through which we call for the attendance of tourism companies to this important event as a gesture to attract tourists from central and southern Iraq to spend fun and beautiful times. "

 

The circus has a capacity of 500 people and it is round in shape. Tickets will be sold in Sulaymaniyah at Grand Millennium Hotel, Majdi Mall, Magma Square, Copthorne Baranan Hotel, Millennium Kurdistan Hotel.
